Dollar Declines in Asian Trading

The dollar continued to fall Thursday in Asian trading after earlier remarks from the U.S. Federal Reserve chairman failed to spark fresh optimism about the U.S. economy.

Import Growth Outpaces Export Rise

China's Automakers Set Sights on Exports, Amid Humble Beginnings

Geely Group is an up and coming automaker out of China. They are planning on expanding exports to America and Europe. Geely's two mainland Chinese auto companies — Zhejiang Geely Automobile Co. and Shanghai Maple Guorun Automobile — sold 96,683 sedans in 2004, up 27 percent from 2003.
